The BBC Press Office (link further down in the column) has announced
their Christmas/New Years plans for UK fans.
1) Christmas Day 1PM - BBC One - Doctor Who Confidential - Music And
Monsters
2) Christmas Day 4 to 7PM - BBC Radio 1 - 3 hour live Doctor Who
special hosted by Jo Whiley. Radio 1 can be heard on the internet.
Radio 1 programmes can be heard for 7 days through the listen again
feature. Also - Radio 1 is available in the US on subscription
satellite radio services with a 5 hour time delay, so it would be 4
to 7PM Eastern Time, 1 to 4PM Pacific.
3) Christmas Day 7PM - BBC One - Doctor Who - The Runaway Bride. The
1 hour Christmas episode, the first show in the third series'
production run. David Tennant is The Doctor, with guest stars
Catherine Tate and Sarah Parish.
4) New Years Day 4:50PM - BBC One - The Sarah Jane Adventures. 1 hour
special that will lead in to a weekly series in 2007. Elizabeth
Sladen returns as Sarah Jane Smith, companion to the 3rd and 4th
Doctors in the 1970s, in this children-oriented spinoff set after the
events of new series episode School Reunion. The Sarah Jane
Adventures will air in the BBC One CBBC programming block.
5) Christmas Eve 9:30PM and New Years Day 9:30PM BBC Three, 27
December 10PM and 3 January 9PM BBC Two - Torchwood, episodes 11, 12,
and 13. The last 3 episodes of Series 1 of this adult-oriented
spinoff series will air. More repeats on BBC Three - See Torchwood

6) New Years Eve 6PM and Midnight - BBC 7 - Doctor Who - Blood Of The
Daleks, pt 1. The digital radio station has a deal with Big Finish
http://www.doctorwho.co.uk to make a new 8 episode radio series of
Doctor Who stories, with Paul McGann as the 8th Doctor. This time the
episodes will premiere on BBC7 and be released on CD by Big Finish at
a later date. BBC7 can be heard online with RealPlayer and Windows
Media Player, and for a week afterwards using RealPlayer.

TV2 in Finland is going straight into Series 2 this weekend, with The Christmas Invasion airing on 10 December, 1 week after The Parting of the Ways. Note - Christmas Invasion is airing at 3:30PM, not 8:05PM. It is unclear if this is a time change or a one time event.

Italian station Jimmy http://www.jimmy140.it has scheduled their first airing of The Christmas Invasion for Christmas Eve. The rest of Series 2 will air on the 13 subsequent weeks.

The CBC http://www.cbc.ca/television has taken Doctor Who off the air
to make room for Christmas programming. Doctor Who returns in the
same timeslot on 15 January with The Satan Pit.

The PBS stations in the US are having their December pledge drives,
which will disrupt Doctor Who broadcasts.
1) WCET Cincinnati will pre-empt Doctor Who on the 9th.
2) KBTC/KCKA Tacoma/Centralia, WA will not air Doctor Who on the 9th, 16th, or 23rd for pledge programming. Doctor Who returns December 30th. A Doctor Who pledge marathon is expected to air on January 20th.
